9. Team Galactic Eterna Building

Walkthrough

Team Galactic has taken over a building in the north of Eterna City, and a small tree stands in front of the door. Cutting it needs the Forest Badge and a Pokémon that knows Cut, which HM01 teaches. Cut the tree and go into the Team Galactic building.

On the first floor you meet Looker, a detective who is keeping an eye on Team Galactic. The door to Rotom's Room on the first floor does not open.

Grunts wait for you on the first three floors, and a scientist with a Kadabra is on the third. On the way up you can pick up an X Speed on the second floor and an X Special on the third. On the top floor there are a Revive, a Blue Shard and an Up-Grade.

Commander Jupiter waits on the top floor. Both her Pokémon are part Poison. Her Zubat is also part Flying, so Ground moves miss it, while Psychic, Electric, Ice and Rock moves work well. Her Skuntank is part Dark: Psychic moves do nothing to it, and Ground moves are the only kind it is weak to. It holds a Sitrus Berry, so expect it to heal once.

When Jupiter loses, Team Galactic leaves the building and Eterna City, and the Cycle Shop's owner can go back to his shop. Cynthia is waiting outside it; the next chapter picks up there.
